The Charles Schwab Challenge starts on Thursday. Normally you should pick the world number one and the golfer who has won the most titles on the PGA Tour in 2024. However, due to the fact Scottie Scheffler is dealing with legal issues from the PGA Championship a week ago in Louisville, I recommend you look at three other options until the 2024 Masters champion gets his game back on track. Here are three golfers I like this week.
Jordan Spieth

The three-time major champion has had success at the Charles Schwab Challenge in the past. The 2015 Masters champion, 2015 United States Open champion and 2017 British Open champion won the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas in 2016 and was a runner up to Chris Kirk in 2015, Kevin Kisner in 2017 and Jason Kokrak in 2021.

Jordan Spieth is $23.00 to win the 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge. View TOPSPORT Racing Markets Here!

Charley Hoffman

It feels good to pick a darkhorse once in a while, and this week I have two. Charley Hoffman, the native of San Diego, who is 47 years of age, came very close to winning his fifth PGA event earlier this year, but lost to Nick Taylor of Canada in a playoff at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Hoffman has had prior success at the Colonial in the past as he was third in 2021.

Charley Hoffman is $151.00 to win the 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge. View TOPSPORT Racing Markets Here!

Daniel Berger

Forget about Berger’s 455th world ranking here. The reason is because he was out 19 months with a back injury. He has made the cut in his last four PGA events and is a past champion, as he won in 2020.

Daniel Berger is $67.00 to win the 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge. View TOPSPORT Racing Markets Here!
